For those of you who haven't heard, we're thinking about adopting - yeah! Well, the other day I was at the Jordon Riv Temple waiting for a photo shoot when I saw this family that looked like they'd just been sealed. Turns out the kids are from one of the main countries we're looking for! - Kinda strange especaily since there aren't a ton of adoptions from there!! This is one of their cuie kiddos! Fun stuff huh?

Ha! This morning 2 friends and I with their kids all went for a walk! It was definitely an adventure! To start with, Joe had decided to sleep in, so while the alarm was going off, I had no CLUE it was already after 8. Daylight savings kind of makes everything a little screwy. So all of a sudden I’m mostly asleep and I hear my phone ringing in the other room! I jump up like a mad woman, flick on the lights – to Joe’s dismay- and grab my phone only to be told they’re all here – meaning waiting outside in the fridged cold for me to get out there. Today is GOING to be beautiful and warm but let’s just say we weren’t feeling it at a little after 8, which really would be a little after 7, had it not just been for – you guessed it – daylight savings! So I get out there and we start on our walk. Between my 2 friends they have 5 children, from 5 years to 3 months in age. They also each have a double stroller AND a kid on a big wheel! We were a sight to see, I’m sure. We’re not quite sure where we’re going, so there’s a lot of stopping and starting, but for the most part we’re doing great! Untill, of course, D desides to go riding off some side street on his own and I try to play around with J and end up knocking him off his Big Wheel bike. Still not so bad… until the crying began! First I – that’s understandable – he is just a couple months old and it IS pretty cold! But then A takes his turn. Issy throws in the occasional whine and next thing we know, D won’t ride his Big Wheel anymore and J is sobbing his head off! HA! Maybe if it had been my child I wouldn’t have thought it was funny. But they aren’t and I did! Still we’re resolved to go walking again tomorrow! Brave moms! Maybe if they don’t start on their own I can pinch all the kiddos to make sure tomorrow is just as entertaining as today was!

Ok, so I run several different businesses. Kinda Fun, Kinda Rough, but no big deal right? I mean, especially customer service. I like people to be happy, they like to be happy, and usually I'm willing to do whatever I feel is appropriate to make them happy. "Customer's always right"! Well, the last several months on Ebay, I've been having a lot of success making people, just that - happy! Giving great deals, providing fast service... I have even had a lot of repeat customers and LOVE having them come back! The problem came when I tried crossing over to my photography. Now, when I began, I just had a few customers and I worked reeeeally hard so that I probably in the end provided more than they were expecting. However, lately, though I don't think I've changed at all, I've got all these people whining and moaning about this and that, when in truth... i hate to say it, but usually the problem is Them! Sorry folks, but when you're IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of and take FOREVER to get back to me, if you do at all, it's not MY fault that you still don't have your pictures! Shesh! I guess I don't understand how people can COMPLETELY ignore several attempts on my end to handle things in a quick and productive manner, then totally beep and moan about what I'M doing! Excuse me? I'm sorry but I took your photos MONTHS ago and have been trying to get you to move your hiney ever since! So don't come ranting at ME because stuff isn't done! And then there's the people who you did a ton of work and favors for and they STILL don't pay you everything they owe you! (Brooke, I'm sure you're hearing me on that one!) I mean, SHESH! I saved your Christmas Card for you! The least you can do is pay me the lousy $30 you owe me!
I still love customers... but do I really always have to provide "good" (aka FAKE) customer service? Or ever once in a while can I just clue them in to how lame they truly are? Probably not. So until that day comes, THIS is my vent about Customer Service :)

Oh My! I'm not sure I even realized it was POSSIBLE to "enjoy" so much basketball in such a short amout of time!!! It all started last night around 6 when Joe got "the call" That's right-they had decided to have a mens b-ball tourament for the stake (meaning church members in our area) and his group's (ward's) first game was in less than an HOUR! PLUS if they won, they'd play again at 9! So much for our Friday night! Good thing we had decided not to plan anything big! (You know, since we ALWAYS do big stuff on Fridays... like... ummm... well... every once in a while we actually get off the couch... Heck! Sometimes we even leave the house!) Anyway, they won - yippie joey - I'm estatic ;) AND they won again at 9! Not too bad. Except that meant they had to play the next day at 2. Unfortunatly, that one didn't result in a win - end of basketball for the day right? WRONG! They needed a bit of help, so joey stayed and ref.ed the final game at 3. Shesh! 4 games - that's plenty, right? Except.... I had had the bright idea that we should go to the BYU Final game of the season - vs Utah! So the day before i bought tickets. Thats 5 GAMES of basketball in 24 HOURS! Even during Joe's Basketball season, it sill takes me over a MONTH normally to watch that much basketball!
The scariest part was... I kinda liked it ;)
ps. oh yah - the cougs rock - Go Cougs! Poor Utes didn't stand a chance... not even with that new crazy mascot of theirs. Sorry guys - maybe next year
pps Joe just remined me... it's MARCH! Crap.

Back Last Fall we were lucky enough to have some family come visit! However, since I was being a slacker, I didn't post many photos back then! So I figured I'd make up for it now:) Hence the Surge of photos! I'm going to post a few from the Halloween party we visited as well. Fancy Fancy! If only I didn't like my family so stinkin much... these are just the first of many photos to come! ;)
